Suno unveils "v5.5" — now able to make music that reflects your own voice

Suno released its new model, “v5.5.” Living up to the company’s description of it as “our most personal model,” it simultaneously launched three new features — “Voices,” “Custom Models,” and “My Taste” — that let users create music reflecting their own voice and preferences.

• Voices: A feature that captures your own singing voice, letting you hear a version of yourself in Suno’s songs. Registered through an identity-verification process that matches against random phrases, ensuring it can’t be used by anyone else
• Custom Models: A feature that lets you upload your own songs made outside Suno to tune a personal model closer to your own style. Pro and Premier users can create up to 3 custom models
• My Taste: A feature available to all users that personalizes recommendations based on frequently used genres and preferred moods
• Audio quality: Delivers richer arrangements, clearer vocals, and more dynamic sound across every genre

How to try it

• Available at suno.com; identity verification for Voices and uploads for Custom Models can both be done from each user’s account settings
• Some features, such as the cap on the number of Custom Models you can create, are limited by plan, and require a Pro or Premier subscription
