Manus Adds Native '.pptx' Generation, Complete with Editable Charts and Tables
Manus has added the ability to directly generate and download native PowerPoint (.pptx) files, rather than converting from a web format. The standout feature is that it outputs files with editable charts and tables intact.
Details
- Flexible source inputs: Presentations can be created from a variety of inputs, including spreadsheet data, research topics, PDFs, URLs, and meeting notes
- Editing features: Includes “Elements” (toggle which components are shown) and “Edit Data” (change the underlying figures) for editing charts directly within Manus before downloading
- Data preservation: Charts are exported with their underlying data table embedded, so they remain editable in PowerPoint or Google Slides after downloading
- How it works: Select “PowerPoint” mode in the Slides tool, describe your topic or upload data, and Manus analyzes the numbers, identifies trends, and builds editable charts
How to try it
- Currently available in beta to users on the 1.6 model and Max model
- Also supports live integration with Google Sheets and can incorporate research findings
