xAI Launches "Grok for Outlook" Add-in for Microsoft Outlook
xAI has announced βGrok for Outlook,β a free add-in for Microsoft Outlook. It can summarize long email threads, turn a short note into a polished reply, and keep the inbox organized automatically. This is the fourth Microsoft 365 integration after the existing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint add-ins.

- Thread summarization: Condenses lengthy email conversations, identifying decisions, responsible parties, and pending action items
- Reply drafting: Give it brief notes and Grok turns them into a reply that matches how you write, or composes a new message from scratch β tone and recipients can be refined before sending
- Inbox organization: Automatically archives completed discussions, filters spam, and prioritizes messages that need a response
- Additional capabilities: Reads attachments and can search the web and X without leaving Outlook
