xAI Adds Reference Support to "Grok Imagine Video 1.5" With Image/Voice References and Native 1080p
xAI announced that its video generation model “Grok Imagine Video 1.5” now supports image and voice references along with native 1080p output. It also gained text-only video generation, and can keep a character’s voice consistent across multiple scenes.
Details
- Image and voice references: Up to seven references (images and/or voice clips) per generation, letting a character’s appearance and voice stay consistent across new scenes
- Text-only video generation: New capability to generate video from a text prompt alone, with no starting image required — the pipeline first generates an image, then animates it
- Native 1080p: Both text-to-video and image-to-video now support native 1080p output
- Voice consistency: Voice references let a character’s voice stay consistent across multiple scenes
- API access: Available via the xAI API as
grok-imagine-video-1.5(voice references available on request)
