OpenAI launched “Daybreak for Frontline Defenders,” pledging $1 billion in subsidized access to its frontier cyber AI tools over the next six months, starting in the U.S. with plans to expand internationally, aimed at defenders who protect critical infrastructure but lack enterprise-scale security budgets.
