"Claude Code" reaches general availability — VS Code/JetBrains integration and SDK arrive alongside Claude 4

Timed with the launch of Claude Opus 4 and Sonnet 4, Anthropic moved "Claude Code" from research preview to general availability (GA). Beta extensions for VS Code and JetBrains, GitHub Actions integration, and a developer SDK were also released the same day.
