Google releases open-source terminal AI agent "Gemini CLI"

Google announced "Gemini CLI," an open-source AI agent that runs in the terminal. Released under the Apache 2.0 license, it lets anyone with a personal account use Gemini 2.5 Pro's 1-million-token context window for free.
