Cognition Partners with LTM to Reduce Cyber Risk in Financial Services Using Devin
Cognition, maker of the autonomous AI software engineer Devin, has announced a partnership with security firm LTM to jointly offer a vulnerability-remediation service for the financial services industry. The deal combines LTM’s practice expertise across 260-plus clients with Cognition’s Devin Security Swarm to automate CVE (known vulnerability) remediation.
Details
- The partnership: LTM’s AI-native security ecosystem “BlueVerse” is combined with Cognition’s “Devin Security Swarm” into a new managed service called “BlueVerse RightLogic”
- How it works: The service ingests scanner findings, prioritizes them by business criticality, routes high-confidence fixes to Devin automatically, and hands complex cases to human engineers
- Target numbers: The goal is to raise enterprise CVE backlog clearance from roughly 60% to 80%, with Devin Security Swarm identifying verified vulnerabilities at 30% lower cost than comparable alternatives
- Client base: LTM serves more than 260 clients, including 26 Fortune 500 companies and the top 5 global banks
- Context: With AI-powered cyberattacks having tripled and probing every available vulnerability, Cognition VP of Global Partnerships Gardner Johnson said, “Security has become a volume problem that no human team can staff its way out of”
- Initial focus: Banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI), with plans to expand into other industries afterward
How to try it
- The service is rolling out first to LTM’s existing banking, financial-services, and insurance clients
- Pricing and other contract details have not been disclosed
- LTM says a large pool of its engineers has already completed hands-on Devin training, so client teams can be productive from day one
