Introducing Gemini 3.7 Flash
Google has released Gemini 3.7 Flash, describing it as its “most intelligent workhorse model yet for coding and agents.” The model arrives just three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash, folding in developer feedback and algorithmic improvements, and posts sizable benchmark gains while cutting introductory pricing in half.
Details
- Coding and agent benchmarks jump: FrontierCode 1.1 Main rose from 34.4% to 43.6%, and DeepSWE v1.1 climbed from 49.0% to 65.3% versus Gemini 3.6 Flash
- Web development: WebDev Arena Elo increased from 1538 to 1588
- Document and business tasks: GDP.pdf (document processing) improved from 22.0% to 34.0%, and AutomationBench (business automation) rose from 17.0% to 30.4%
- Pricing cut in half: Introductory pricing through December 31, 2026 is $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens — a 50% reduction versus Gemini 3.6 Flash. Regular pricing of $1.50/$7.50 takes effect January 1, 2027
- Where it’s available: Google AI Studio, Android Studio, and Google Antigravity for developers; the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and Gemini Enterprise app for businesses; and Gemini Spark for Google AI Pro/Ultra subscribers in more than 160 countries
- Safety work: Google says it strengthened safeguards around CBRN misuse and cyber-offense risks while preserving the model’s legitimate coding and agentic capabilities
