Runway Launches Team Plan, Pooling Credits for Small Group Workspaces

Runway introduced Team on September 4, 2026, a new self-serve plan built for small groups that create together, centralizing shared projects, a pooled credit balance, and in-app collaboration tools that were previously split across individual accounts.

Details

• Pooled credits: each seat contributes 6,900 credits per month to one shared balance instead of separate per-user allowances, with unused credits rolling over for one additional month
• Shared workspace: up to 100 shared projects and 1TB of team storage hold assets, references, Brand Kits, sessions, and workflows in one place visible to the whole team
• Collaboration tools: in-generation commenting, @mentions to loop in teammates, up to 20 shared agent skills, and Agent Connectors for Figma, Dropbox, and Notion
• Seats and pricing: 2 to 9 seats at $69/seat/month billed monthly, or $55/seat/month billed annually (a 20% discount)
• Plan restructuring: Standard, Pro, and Max become individual-only plans going forward; existing multi-member workspaces on those tiers keep their current access and pricing, but new members must join through Team
• Enterprise carve-out: teams needing SSO, advanced model controls, multiple workspaces, or more than 9 seats are directed to Runway’s Enterprise tier
• Availability: live immediately on the web

What happened next

Team is available now for anyone signing up or upgrading through Runway’s web app. The launch follows Runway’s recent run of research previews (Solaris, GWM Worlds 2) with a more mundane but commercially significant move: formalizing team-based pricing and shifting multi-seat customers off ad hoc Standard/Pro/Max arrangements and into a dedicated collaborative tier, while grandfathering existing workspaces to avoid disrupting current customers.
